NuCedar Classic Claboard®, tim and accessories are available factory finished with Polane® from Sherwin-Williams™, a unique solar reflective, two-part polyurethane coating that chemically hardens to an impenetrable barrier.

The result is a finish that looks like painted cedar, but is much more durable. The solar reflective pigments in Polane reduce heat transferred from the sun’s rays and as a result, keep walls of the home significantly cooler. Energy costs can be reduced from 4-13% dependent on location and wall insulation- even when using darker colors in warm climates (1).
